Sharepoint Training

Has anyone any experience of Sharepoint training, as a trainer or trainee? I'm looking for anything that will help me with SLG!!

 

I'm happy to consider any form of training, and it need not be certifiable (although that might help in the long run). Can anyone recommend any trainers, courses, books, online tools etc etc etc?

I'm also looking for some SharePoint training. I want to get the most out of Office365 and would like to setup sites for Staff and Governors to allow collaboration and shared resouces. OneDrive for Business isn't working well for us and I feel SharePoint is the way to go but am a bit lost as to where to start.

Capita does a Technical Essentials - Maintaining SIMS Learning Gateway course for SLG, did find a SLG2 Intro booklet here, if that's any help

 

If it's SharePoint in general that you're looking for... You could buy the following books:

Exam Ref 70-331: Core Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013

Exam Ref 70-332: Advanced Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013

 

Get the CBTNuggets training courses. First one, second one.

 

Or the likes of QA and Firebrand do courses. While they are very good, they do have a price to match it

 

However if you want free, Microsoft provide basic/introduction free courses for 2010 and 2013
