Serif users - how often do you buy new versions?

So, like many skip versions for Office (eg. we went from 2003 to 2010), how often do Serif suite users usually stick with one version before updating to a newer one?

 

We're running X5 stuff here, and the latest is mostly X7 now.

We went from X4 to X6 for most programs (with the exception of 1 program where X5 was the current version at the time it was deployed). It was about 3 years or so before we upgraded to the X6 suite. Edited June 13, 2014 by computer_expert

We are just moving from X2/3 to X6/7

We're still on X4. Works (ish!) although our shiny new ICT lead has expressed interest in finally getting updated!

with I had a new ICT lead. My one still insists on using Macromedia!

We moved after 2 versions released but I suspect now we'll not buy it again. The only product I think is worth buy is the video editing one, I was sceptical about it but I am really impressed with it. The web one is just evil and should be banned

barley. We run 8 here and its glitch at best. Funny thing is bought serif a year back with the guy being a real Serif fan so couldn't understand it when he asked for fireworks to be installed again. To be honest I think the guy is a bit of a goon sad that IT teachers are still dragging kids down as its one subject where you can really make a difference to the modern world.
