Net support for business?

Hey guys,

I'm currently looking for a software similar to that of net support, but for a business scenario.

I remember seeing and having to put up with net support in high school. Then we were free, and could mess around. We wrote ipconfig renew and release scripts to evade it. And we even took a look at both softwares for client and server. Good times. But I know how good it is. I used to be close with my computer teacher and she showed us how it works etc. And it works great. The entire school (4,500 students about) uses it. Of course not every student was on a computer but the computer classes and labs had them. And it worked great. Used little from the crappy school computers but allowed full control to the teacher.

 

So I'm currently looking for one that has the abilities of netsupporr but for buisness. I don't want to use netsuppornetsupport due to its price and maintenance fees. I'll be glad to consider anything so please feel free answer with any software that could fit the bill.

 

Side notes:

They use about 15 desktops. The owner has a tablet and home computer but also the desktop at work. If the application could allow control it from the android tablet it would be a really big plus. Note the tablet is only used when not in the companys network (aka travel)

 

If anyone knows of one that is in Spanish (as the business's owner lives in mexico, currently visiting) that would be great. If not English is alright they know English just their primary language is Spanish.

Impero is simalar to net support, in the education version at least but they have a work place verson as well. I'm not sure that they do Spanish be I have left the website below.

It looks great! We might just try out the demo. May I ask how you know the setting for Spanish is available? I went looking for features, specs, etc. And could find much more than impero's publicity. Their brochure PDF gave me some idea as to what its capable of, and YouTube had not much regarding usage or how it ddoes wu its advertised to do. Of that makes any sense. Also quick question - any other worthy features or a screenshot you could give me of the server and or client? Its not needed you have already done quite a but I would like to be ready and have some idea of what I am doing inc edownloaded.

Also- is it one application runs both the client and server (workers and boss) versions? And is there a median or givable control? Ex. Togive the manager access to almost what the "boss" / server would have ?

 

Any idea on price too?

On the education version you can change the language by going to the top left corner and then left clicking then click the language Selector.

 

 

Other features I can think of are : -

 

- Share screens

- Messaging

- can words to be flagged

 

- Set differnet websites to be blocked for different groups

 

- Mute sounds, disable USB, disable printing

 

Could be more can't think of them at the moment, I remember that the impero sales team setup an online demo to show off all the features.

There is only one client but permissions to access it can be given so a student can't get on be a student can. About median or givable controls again I think can be done through permissions, I don't think anyone would have to use the server, I don't only to setup new websites to be blocked.

 

Not sure was not told at the time and given they have a busniss sector and education sector they maybe different, we have called up they have been very helpful so it may best to ask them.

I see. It sounds quite awesome in all honesty, but I have not heard back from the company about a demo/quote/nor trial. Any idea how I could download a trial? The features seem to be pretty cool and could come in very handy. I also saw that they had an iOS app, but none for android. Any idea I'd theymiht get around to it?

I put an email and two phone numbers for impero to get in touch with me, and i set the "preferred date to be contacted" as saturday the 14th. I posted the request about two days ago. I can wait on the quote, what I truly need to get my hands on is the 14 day trial.

I saw this forum while looking for NetSupport look-alikes but for business but could not find anything. I was thinking ABTutor, but they wanted something more business appropriate. After a quick search through web requests pretty much worked out your request and checked account manager assigned to is due to call you today obviously waiting for time zone etc so morning there....
