LiteOn UK warrenty returns.

I have a very nice LiteOn DVD 5005 DVD recorder which I purchased in Feburary this year. Unfortunately it has been playing up this past month. The picture keeps going black and white and not recognising some discs it did just the hour before. I need to contact LiteOn and get it fixed, I have however lost the warrenty card with the contact details on and trying to get any kind of Uk contact details for them is next to impossible. Does anyone out there have thie UK contact\customer service details?

You need a valid email address to do that.They ahve buried themselves very deep. The UK LiteOn companies are NOT the consumer electronics arms, mearly subsidury companies which have no idea of the other areas I need to find.

have you tried contacting argos customer services to see if they can give you the manufacturers support number? its the kind of thing they are likely to have.

actually some of their stuff is cheap [and] decent - cd-roms, dvd-writers in particular always get very decent reviews in pcpro and pcw...

you will find a lot of other manuacturers stuff are liteon rebadges at higher prices and hacked up firmware...
