nicholab Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 How do you get an i pad to always automatically download apps form Meraki even with auto downloading enabled it is not working. It keeps wanting the password.
Michael Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can. This is because the iPad requires you to swipe and enter a pin (optionally), unlike Windows where MSIs are deployed as a service and doesn't require end user interaction.
computer_expert Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 I think this is an apple limitation rather than a meraki limitation (unless apple have changed it recently)

It keeps wanting the password. Is the iPad signed into the store? Are there age restrictions set for App Store content on the iPad (it will always ask for the Apple ID if this is the case)?
xenonive Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 You need to have iPad supervised by a mac server then you can push apps with the mac server rather than meraki.
ass17 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Meraki pushed apps still require the end user to enter in their Apple ID password.
