Meraki auto applying apps

How do you get an i pad to always automatically download apps form Meraki even with auto downloading enabled it is not working. It keeps wanting the password.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think you can. This is because the iPad requires you to swipe and enter a pin (optionally), unlike Windows where MSIs are deployed as a service and doesn't require end user interaction.

I think this is an apple limitation rather than a meraki limitation (unless apple have changed it recently)

Is the iPad signed into the store?

Are there age restrictions set for App Store content on the iPad (it will always ask for the Apple ID if this is the case)?

You need to have iPad supervised by a mac server then you can push apps with the mac server rather than meraki.

Meraki pushed apps still require the end user to enter in their Apple ID password.
