Living where I do, (Swiss Alps) you kinda have to ride. The only way to a decent supermarket is 10Km all downhill. Tarmac or trail, your choice. My ride is a Boardman Team FS. Sod riding back up though. Put the bike on the bus.

DMRs or NS bikes are good.

my DMR has been rock solid for about 7 years, only serviced it to keep it going.

I do like the DMRs and only ever seen one NS bike, that was for sale for £700. Not going near it xD

Cardinham Woods Bodmin both i've ridden years and years ago! Land Rover Hydro

Apparently they have now added an easy trail across the road at Lanhydrock. I haven't been on it yet but I have heard people using it as a warm up for Cardinham Wood and to practice skills. More info can be found here: https://www.facebook.com/LanhydrockCycleHub
