nicholab Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I a problem with three IWB's when a visualizer is plugged into to the PC's usb it kills the IWB any suggestions?
synaesthesia Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 What PC? Some are unable to provide enough power to the front ports, something I've seen very often on RM One Ecoquiets.
mac_shinobi Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 What PC? Some are unable to provide enough power to the front ports, something I've seen very often on RM One Ecoquiets. This would hint at possibly ensuring to connect to one of the rear ports that is on the system board itself not one of those front facing usb header ports ??
synaesthesia Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 The design of those RM's is ropey at best, there's a sort of a "hub" around the back connected to a rear facing port. But indeed, should stick to the rears.
yugo Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 Have noticed this recently on some Dell optiplex 3010s when the user plugged in their phone at the front it knocked off the Smartboard. I suppose the only other way to avoid this is by using a powered usb hub?
