Arthur Posted May 13, 2014 Posted May 13, 2014 Too many editions? Source: Kotaku What you're looking at here is not a complex scientific chart, or a guide to completing your income tax. This his is how many different ways you can buy Watch Dogs and all the crap that comes with it.
FWBD Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 You'd think they would do an Ultimate Edition which contained everything... And they wonder why people pirate games
X-13 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 You'd think they would do an Ultimate Edition which contained everything... And they wonder why people pirate games That comes out a couple of years after. I'm thinking I should really hold back buying Ubi titles until the complete version is out.
FWBD Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I'm thinking I should really hold back buying Ubi titles until the complete version is out. I'm currently doing that with a few games since I know they'll do a GOTY or Ultimate edition with everything included
X-13 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I'm currently doing that with a few games since I know they'll do a GOTY or Ultimate edition with everything included I was going to, after getting hit with it for AC:R and AC3... but then I cracked and bought AC4 at launch.
tmcd35 Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 I've pre-ordered the Gold Edition from the US PS4 Store. Set up a US account years ago when it was the only way to play Rock Band, it's come in handy since. For £48 ($80) I got - Full game, extra 1hr timed exclusive PS4 single player content, 2hrs T-Bone single player DLC, Season Pass for future single player DLC. All in I'm happy. Don't usually pre-order but this time I thought why not since I knew I was buying at release anyway. For an extra £5.50 I picked up a copy of Flashback 2013 at the same time - brilliant game!
CAM Posted May 14, 2014 Posted May 14, 2014 This was on my "OMFG Get on Release" list but then the version I was going to buy for the Wii U was pushed back significantly making it a Dead On Arrival title. That means braving PC, but best wait and see if it needs that UPlay software which is garbage on PC. Oh wait, now this giant DLC matrix comes out making me think I am about to get taken for a ride anyway as most of the content is going to be hidden and cost me an absurd amount. Guess I wait even longer for prices to drop...
