Creating Newsletters

Hello

 

Vaguely hoping I'm posting this in the right forum, wasn't sure where else to put it so feel free to move it if necessary.

 

Does anybody out there have any advice on creating school newsletters? Ideally we are looking for a piece of software to make things look pretty, we currently use Publisher and I know a lot of other schools do to but wondered if there are any alternatives.

 

We did investigate using a media\print company.

 

Any advice welcome, thank you in advance

We use Adobe InDesign here to do our newsletters in-house.

Resolved: in the end one of the IT teachers here remembered that long ago he had used Youblisher which turns PDF documents into rather neater and fancier looking flipbooks.

 

I either use the URL link or HTML code to embed into the website.

 

Sure it takes a while for the conversion but submit it on the Friday and it's there on the Monday : )

Hi, just came across this post - I know it's a little bit old but I found a great article on vidomi.com about different publishing software to create your newsletter. It shows you different free publishing software with which you can create your newsletter / magazine / flipbook. Click here to read the article Maybe one of these platforms is a great alternative to the one you used before to create your newsletter. I can tell from experience that these online publishing platforms are really easy to use plus they are free!
