Hi,

We have two physical hosts (DL380 G6's) running a number of virtual servers.

On checking via the vSphere Client on the Summary tab the CPU and memory usage are only running at about 12% and 20% respectively...should I be looking to allocate more resources to the virtual servers to get this figure higher?

Thanks.

Not unless your virtual servers are reporting much higher resource usage and needing 'more' from the host pool.

i.e. if your virtual servers are running flat out and needing more resources on their allocation then yeah, allocate more. If they aren't, you don't need to give them anymore.

Just means you've got plenty of resource left in the host pool for more servers etc.
