Smart Notebook Home Use

Hi Guys,

 

Does anyone know if there is a free version of Smart Notebook for home use? The staff in our school wish to install the software on their personal PC's to work from home but I can only find versions that give you a free 30 day trial then require license details.

 

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

 

(p.s. did a search of this but couldn't find the information I was after - sorry if this has been asked/answered before)

I spoke to SMART about this and I was told that the staff member can download the software at home and use the schools license.

i suspect that works up to 11.4 but newer versions are now effectively rented from smart

Witch - I was wondering about asking them this - in this anywhere in writing? As I'm worried about dishing out the schools product key to all the staff!

if you in notebook go help activate software it shows them the code anyway

Not in writing but you might get them to email you. We don't use anything over 11 anyway at the moment due to issues with various bits of software

Sorry I don't understand the question. On my Win 7 machine it runs a lite version of notebook in my browser.

Yes it runs in the browser on mine but there is an option to download it to run when no connection is available which when clicked I can only see a Linux download.
