cdunn93 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Hi all, I have recently received 15 laptops and instead of having to go onto all of them individually and install all the programs and settings i want can i do this on one and then 'clone' it so that i can simply load it all at once onto the others? many thanks,
Little-Miss Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I was really lazy once and used Clonezilla...
edutech4schools Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 same as above. remember to sysprep before taking the image.
Norphy Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 There are the Microsoft imaging tools as well. At the most basic level, you could use ImageX to take a snapshot of one disk and apply it to another. You need the ADK from Microsoft to get ImageX. If you want to be a bit more advanced and deploy from a network, you need to install WDS on a server. If you want to go even more advanced and install additional software afterwards, you need MDT.
