randle Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 Has anyone else in the Essex area been able to download the SIMS migration tool via SOLUS? I've called Capita and they say it's been authorised and should be available for me to download but it's not and i really need this now seeing as the deadline is creeping closer. I've called them every day this week to try and get this rolling but so far nothing has been done. Anyone know who i can contact at Capita to get this moving?
mullet_man Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 I think you may find you already have it in your setups folder, think its called SIMSsql something something. Gonna give it a go next week during half term.
randle Posted October 25, 2007 Author Report Posted October 25, 2007 The file's called SIMSSQL2005.EXE but i don't have this in my setups folder. I'm also waiting on FMS upgrade 6.85 & 6.91 but haven't recieved these either.
vikpaw Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 I got my local support team to do ours on Monday. Is the file different depending on where you are and who supports you?
jcollings Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 The file's called SIMSSQL2005.EXE but i don't have this in my setups folder. I'm also waiting on FMS upgrade 6.85 & 6.91 but haven't recieved these either. The file is called SQLSimsInfrastructureUpgrae.exe (or similar) - when you run it it unpacks a few bits and creates SIMSSQL2005.exe. It was there in our setups folder when I downloaded the Sept Update. Hope this helps
randle Posted October 26, 2007 Author Report Posted October 26, 2007 Cheers guys. If i actually read the instruction manual properly i would have seen that running the SQLSimsInfrastructureSetup.exe in my setups folder would extract the required files. doh!! Thanks for the help though
