Hi,

We have new MIS system, Bromcom MIS, that has the function to send SMTP emails.. eg.. automatically sending reports to staff at certain dates/times...

I have tried to follow M$ documentation and also follow various guides but I cant get anywhere!

I have been testing with various SMTP test tools.

For testing i have opened the "receive mail from servers" to IPs from 0.0.0 - 255.255.255.255 and set the authentication to TLS and the permissions groups to anonymous.

From within the network this is working fine.

Our mail comes via the council from a separate mail servers/system. Do you think that i might need them to add a receive connector or similar aswell?

Can anyone please help?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @burgemaster, I don't think I have seen this issue logged with our Helpdesk yet.

Please contact us on the usual telephone number or log the call via SupportDesk in order that we can provide you with an explanation to your issue.

Thanks

Thanks @GraemeBC

I did ask for help with this, but I was advised to test using the SMTP tool. Once working in the test tool, then transfer the details into Bromcom.

I don't think that this is a Bromcom issue, but if your support guys have the knowledge in setting up receivers in exchange 2007, then that would be great?

Thanks

Tim
