Meru controller won't discover new AP

Hi all,

 

I've been trying to add an AP320 to an MC3000, and the controller doesn't seem to be discovering the AP. I connected a console cable to the AP and it's showing tons of errors (below) -- I did some searching without much luck and I'm thinking that it might just be a bad AP, but thought that I would check to see if anybody else has seen this issue before. The LAN LED on the AP also turns red -- the manual suggests an autonegotiation issue, but I'm thinking it could just be an issue with the AP related to the error below.

 

Here's a slice of the console log from the AP (removed the MAC address)
