ToffeeMan Posted April 16, 2014 Posted April 16, 2014 Does anyone have any experience on integrating a finance package with iSams? I am aware they integrate well with Sage 200, but at £20,000+ for a 2 user finance system it seems exorbitant. We currently have PASS (I know the integration is very limited) and I'm interested in possibly porting to Sage 50 or any other finance package which is a bit more user friendly... advice / experience would be appreciated. Thanks
GREED Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Why not give them a ring, I'm sure they will help you with your integrations.
browsw Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 Hi Toffeeman, We're just moving to iSams and Sage from WCBS too. We are using Solutionsforaccounting who write the code for integration and have done a few schools migrating from WCBS. We needed Sage 200 for 2 tier nominal but I'm sure it wasn't as much as 20k and we have 3 users. They may be able to integrate sage 50, worth giving them a call.
elsiegee40 Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 @ToffeeMan we have just moved from 2 license Sage 50 to 5 license Sage 200 and the cost was almost exactly the same; I have no idea where your £20k figure comes from! From what I recall, I didn't do the installation, there was little difference between the two packages.
ToffeeMan Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 elsiegee40 who did you use for your Sage provider the 20k included installation etc?
ToffeeMan Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 GREED, I did contact them and have spoken to their Sage provider - however I am looking to see who has got real world experience here of using different financial packages and the integration provided before making final decisions.
