Chrome + admx

Evening awl,

 

I have sorted the Chrome Enterprise deployment and have the admx in place. Everything is working but I'm having problems blocking one of the chrome:// urls

 

I've done all of them except chrome://settings/ - this one simply refuses to block and instead shows up. So it seems impossible to hide the settings from the user be they pupil or staff.

 

Has anyone managed to do this?

I just blocked all chrome:// urls with chrome://* and whitelisted the few we need. It seems to be working well for me (even on the OSX side of things too). Edited April 11, 2014 by computer_expert

Yep, under the 'google/google chrome/Block access to a list of URLs settings' section
