The Role

 

ULCC is looking for a suitably experienced individual to join our busy Hosting Service Team. The team is responsible for 2nd and 3rd line support and development of the Windows Server and VMware infrastructure systems.

 

The postholder will be involved in both the day to day operational running of ULCC services along with specific projects for ULCC and its customers, ensuring published performance levels are reached.

Requirements

 

You will have considerable experience of working in a service delivery environment implementing and supporting MS Windows Server and VMware ESXi environments, combined with a strong understanding of Active Directory, IIS, SQL and complementary technologies such as PowerShell and server networking. An ability to troubleshoot issues both quickly and methodically whilst under pressure, combined with the ability to interact with customers and manage their service requirements to practical levels is essential.

 

A patient and level-headed individual, you will have the capacity to work effectively either alone or as part of a team, possessing the organizational skills necessary to manage multiple tasks in a varied workload. You will be able to effectively communicate complex information to customers and colleagues so that it is clearly and easily understood, both verbally and through producing clear written documentation.
