rob998 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Hello all, I'm not 100% on Mac so excuse the thick questions: I have a Mac Server which basically runs Deploy Studio. We have a dual boot system (Windows and OSX). The OSX side doesn't really work that well so people aren't using it. I was going to rebuild the mac server and configure from scratch. Is it basically 1) install Mavericks 2) Download Mac Server from App Store? I was going to follow this: Mac mini Server (Late 2012 and Mid 2011): How to install OS X Server on a software RAID volume Rob
TomCollins Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 If you're reinstalling from scratch, before you install don't forget to reformat the OS X partition. I know it sounds stupid but you can 'reinstall' Mavericks and it doesn't reformat the drive itself, so you have to use Disk Utility before hand. Sent from my iPhone using EduGeek
