Quickest way of making lots of jpegs smaller

whats the quickest way to make lots of jpegs smaller there all about 2mb's at the moment I want to reduce them quick

 

any ideas?

Take a look at ImageMagick. It allows you to batch convert image files e.g. resize, resample, change file format etc.

Think Irfanview (freebie) will do that.

Yep, IrfanView's batch processing features are fantastic and will resize, resample, crop, and compress and more.

notice you solved but just as a suggestion, ms powertoy - image resize works wonders for me

I also use the PowerToy solution. Very handy and quick.
