Little-Miss Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 @Dos_Box... I'm sure you planned this date to make sure I couldn't come - 2 weeks earlier would have been perfect :-\ Awww! Poor @Ric_!
CAM Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 And tickets are now available EduGeek.net - Announcing EduGeek EDIT 2014 Ticket Get!
X-13 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 Email sent to the boss with a link to the announcement... let's hope they accept it.
StevieM Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 That's me registered! Also, I'd be well up for a camping EduFest - provided I can bring my little dog. She'd go nuts if I packed up all my camping gear and she wasn't coming with me! Oh and make it family friendly so @GREED can come too. 1
Dos_Box Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Just an case you were still off last week and missed it, the EduGeek EDIT Conf 2014 registration details are now up on the homepage
Dos_Box Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 What is the problem? It should be quite straightforwards.
X-13 Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Email sent to the boss with a link to the announcement... let's hope they accept it. Boss said she'd pass it on to [bloke who sorts CPD stuff] as "the thing you're going to". Yet again, work is paying for me to go be stupid with geeks.
Domino Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 straightforwards. *rollseyes* link on page leads to registration page. *registers* Blank page *close tab, click link again* blank page ...on and on and on Had to search for the event from my account page (which was a job on it's own) before it would let me register.
Little-Miss Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 erm, yeah.....i had the same problem @Dos_Box. Someone else has commented about it on the article too.
Ephelyon Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Same problem here too, worked around it @Domino's way.
Dos_Box Posted April 28, 2014 Author Posted April 28, 2014 Fixed. Seems that Event Bright gave us one URL when setting it up and uses another when it goes live. All is well now.
Ephelyon Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Isn't it annoying how users don't always report problems when they occur, so you can fix them? :P
timbo343 Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 (edited) @Dos_Box any chance of posting who is attending (edugeek members) like you have done in the past? Edited April 29, 2014 by timbo343
RichCowell Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 erm, yeah.....i had the same problem @Dos_Box. Someone else has commented about it on the article too. Glad it wasn't just me! :-P
Dos_Box Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 @Dos_Box any chance of posting who is attending (edugeek members) like you have done in the past? Have we? Erm, I'm not sure we have, but if anyone who has currently registered feels they want to allow us permission to do so please let me know. In the meantime, I know some of you have issues about the distance to the conf, so to help soften the blow for some of you we had announced this on the conf registration page, but may have been missed by some of you: On top of these two unique freebies we shall also be having a draw to help out those of you travelling to see us: Two twin rooms so that four of you will get free accommodation for Wednesday and Thursday evening – You will have to share though! Travel costs for either fuel or train tickets for two members The draw for these shall take place at midday on Monday the 19th May and all those who have registered to attend by this time will be entered. So, if you are coming from afar you are in with a chance of either having your travel or accomodation paid for by us
Little-Miss Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Wasn't there a tick box on the eventbright page that gave permission for you to publish our names? *wonders if she's imagined it*
StevieM Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Wasn't there a tick box on the eventbright page that gave permission for you to publish our names? *wonders if she's imagined it* That is correct... unless we're both hallucinating!
RichCowell Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 Have we? Erm, I'm not sure we have, but if anyone who has currently registered feels they want to allow us permission to do so please let me know. Yep, for the past two years at least... :-) I don't mind either way...
Dos_Box Posted April 30, 2014 Author Posted April 30, 2014 Ah! On the Event Brite page, not here on the main site?
AlexB Posted April 30, 2014 Posted April 30, 2014 All booked, see you all there Work cover my costs, so opt me out of the draw in favour of those covering their own costs. 1
