VMware support Contract Question

We are renewing our VMware 5.1 support contract and asked for quote

 

Here what we have received

 

 

VS5-ESP-BUN-G-SSS-A-R Basic Support Coverage Academic VMware vSphere 5 Essentials Plus Kit for 3 hosts (Max 2 processors per host). Duration when renewed

 

VCS5-VSA-G-SSS-A-R Basic Support Coverage Academic VMware vSphere Storage Appliance (per instance). Duration if renewed

 

 

Any idea what is the second line??? Do we need this too? or just the first one?

I've got this on my renewal as well, do we need this if just running a 3-host set up managed by vCentre Server on a Windows Server virtual machine? Half the cost of our renewal quote is for the Storage Appliance support, but can't see why we need it.

 

Any ideas?
