WSS 3 update issue

ARGHHH!

 

We updated our sharepoint server last night (KB932091) and its now not displaying any of the sites except the central administration....bugger.

I had that exact same problem back when the update came out, the update takes a LONG time to run. In my case i had to leaving it running for over 24 hours to update sharepoint. It may look like it has crashed but leave it running for 2 days and it should be ok.

 

I'm pretty sure MS have recalled this patch and issued a new one to fix this issue. Search google groups and you will find a lot people discussing this issue.
