[ipad] Anybody else excited about the event later in San Francisco?

Microsoft are holding an event where today (around 6PM UK time i believe), Satya Nadella is expect to announce Office for iPad the first touch first version of Office, and also another product designed to manage mobile devices.

 

Interesting times, Microsoft might actually be heading in the right direction at last...

Been rumour mills brewing for a while regarding the office for the iPad.

 

What will be interesting..... is if schools can qualify for it under Office 365 or OVS-ES agreements and if it will be included for students under student advantage.

Seems too little too late in my opinion, if this version is anything like Office for Mac it will be barely usable anyway. There has been a call for Office on iOS since the very first iPad was announced. Pages, Keynote and Numbers seem to be working just fine for me.
