[ubuntu] Unable to acess the internet through gateway?

Hi,

 

Just trying to install Ubuntu Server for Nagios but having trouble from the start.

 

To access a unrestricted internet connection in windows we just set the gateway to the unrestricted router and remove any proxies.

Tried adding the gateway in interfaces but it still wont connect to o things like apt-get update.

 

Any ideas?
