Start Menu Issue in XP

A couple of days ago my start menu started popping up all by itself. I ran spyware and virus scans and they all came back clean so I did a system restore and still, nothing works. It's getting to the point that I have to use other people's computers because I can't type quick enough to evade the start menu.

 

Anyone have a clue?

Have you tried replacing the keyboard incase you have a fauly/stickey windows key
