jackw Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I installed windows XP on my Lenovo 3000 N200 Notebook (0769) using a windows xp professional install disc. After booting up for the first time after installation, I noticed the sound, internet etc. were not working. I went to see what drivers were missing and this is what I saw: I went to the Lenovo website and found the driver page for my machine but I can not see any of the drivers I am missing there. I can't get a direct link to the driver page but search for "3000 n200" on this page: Lenovo Support - Drivers & Software (IE) I have looked everywhere for the drivers I need but I can't seem to find anything. For example: "Base System Device"? All help is welcome and appreciated.

I have downloaded and installed all supported drivers already, That's the problem, When I download them and install them it still says they're not there. edit: I mean, If I've installed these and it's not picking them up at all surely there are other drivers I can't find? themightymrp Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 As @SteveT says above, those drivers are the ones you want. This model definitely works with XP as we used to have about 30 of them in the school, but to be honest we got rid as soon as possible because they were 'orrible little blighters The VGA output for connecting to a projector / second screen is notorious for breaking.

Finding the ethernet driver is often a PITA though. Personally, I wouldn't stick XP on anything now. If it's not Windows 7+ capable stick Linux Mint on it! Edited March 13, 2014 by elsiegee40
