Jackyk Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Can anyone show me how to exclude the sixth form from the attendance graphs in Discover ? Jacky
PhilNeal Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 (edited) Bring down the year group graphs. Multiple select those that you want. Drop it onto the attendance graph. You can then save that set-up if you want to. Edited March 9, 2014 by PhilNeal
Jackyk Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 Hello Phil, Thanks for your reply. I have tried dropping in from the year group bar chart to the attendance timeline graph so it just shows Yrs 7-11. How do you muliple select? I have tried to drop and drag but it shows each year as a different series. I just want one line. Jacky
PhilNeal Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 (edited) Getting beyond my knowledge! I suspect you multi-select using the shift click! You can delete a series once you have several on a graph. Edited March 9, 2014 by PhilNeal
Jackyk Posted March 9, 2014 Author Posted March 9, 2014 Thanks Phil - still can't multiple select. Just can drag over one year group at a time. I just want a graph showing attendance of 7-11! V frustrating! But thank you for trying, Jacky
jasonfblair Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 You need to create a custom graph use school tier graph then Venn it with yr 12 and 13 the school tier without yr 12 and 13 memberships are yr 7 to 11 save as custom group and now can be used to filter on 7 to 11 only job done
PhilNeal Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Sorry I was incorrect; we tried doing multiple select but in trials found that users found it too fiddly. From the summer release it will be possible to drag multiple items into a group and then drop that group onto any other group. So pick up Yr 8 and drag to a new group then pick up Yr 9 etc.
gazskeltz Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Hi, If it was possible to drag a Discover Group onto a Graph, then this would be easy!
gazskeltz Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Addendum: Discover allows a graph of Student Totals by: User Defined Group Assessment Defined Group But not Discover Group...
gazskeltz Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Woo Hoo! Then the OP problem will be sorted then... 1. Create a Discover group containing Years 7 - 11 2. Drag out the Timeline Graph 3. Drag the Discover Group onto it 4. Remove the original series. Hey Presto. Just have to wait till summer... Regards Gaz
