Hi all,

Please could you help, I want to completely remove the shutdown/Restart/Log off/Lock menu that is on the start menu. I know that i can remove the individual items but would like to remove the whole menu.

I can do this using the classicshell.exe program but would like to not have to use third party software if possible

Thanks

There is a Local Group Policy that can remove Shutdown/Restart/sleep and other buttons from the start menu.

I can't say I know of a way to remove the Log-off/lock or switch user without using third party applications, I'm afraid. (Correction: There is also a setting "Remove Logoff from the start menu")
