featured_spectre Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Fungal Grotto is lvl 12+ but its rather nails hard. @ZeroHour You're not wrong, especially bad when your "team mates" decide to continue on without you leaving you to play catch up and get owned by anything they missed!
jaminben Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 @ZeroHour You're not wrong, especially bad when your "team mates" decide to continue on without you leaving you to play catch up and get owned by anything they missed! I've already done Fungal Grotto but if you want a hand in doing it let me know... that's assuming I can do it again.
featured_spectre Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Please. You should be able to do the dungeons as many times as you like, just wont be able to do the quest that is focused in there.
jaminben Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 Just let me know when... we'll probably need 2 or 3 more to be able to do it though.
featured_spectre Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 I am good most evenings from 8:30-9:00pm onwards (usually)
featured_spectre Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 @jaminben, @bushby, @flyinghaggis I posted up on the TMC website what mods I use, feel free to add your own suggestions!
Sunnyknight Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 level 41? What on earth were you doing? Playing all day?! lol Mind you, I get on when I can, but family life kind of makes it difficult anytime before 8:30pm Can hit 50 in 50 hours if I wanted lol. Though that would be boring and would only be for bragging rights. Little trick I learned off a few people xD Mainly doing main story quests and dungeons. After that... just grinding. Had over 130k gold and all epic gear. Ww was 31 and bs was 26 or something. Gutted to say the least. Got some guildies who are 50 though... unreal lol. Might jump on pact soon... see how yer all doing.
featured_spectre Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 Thats crazyness. If I had all day, I would probably do the same thing, but alas I have to work during school holidays, look after mrs and child in the evening, then do other household bits in between! Ahh well, nice steady leveling for me anyways, I am happy with it.
jaminben Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 @Sunnyknight Hmmm 130k Gold... can I get a Wonga Loan from you?

Just gotta be dedicated and fight through the horror levels of 18 to 25. @Sunnyknight Hmmm 130k Gold... can I get a Wonga Loan from you? I HAD it. More than I could spend... if they retrieve or roll back.... jump on AD and sure. Lol
dwhyte85 Posted April 14, 2014 Posted April 14, 2014 You guys have managed to get a group for fungal grotto? I've been outside begging for groups :'(

featured_spectre Posted April 14, 2014 Author Posted April 14, 2014 You guys have managed to get a group for fungal grotto? I've been outside begging for groups :'( @dwhyte85 join the guild website (Tamriel Mining Corporation) and yes, I am wanting to do fungal grotto. My character is level 14 (or 15) now, got some decent skills and an ultimate skill which is hopefully enough to survive as a tank. I have the following skills on my char: Active Skills Dragon Leap as my ultimate skill - which dishes out around 160 damage in 1 hit. Volatile Armour - Dishes out 27 damage on activation to all within 3 metres, and 14 damage to any melee attacker per attack for 20 seconds, and increases armour rating by 300 Dark Talons - plants the enemies and imobilises them for 4 seconds, deals 17 damage on impact, deals 10 burning for 4 seconds Crippling slash - immobilises enemy, does 31 damage, snares target 60% for 9 seconds, reduces target damage by 15% for 9 seconds. Ransack - does 49 damage, reduces target armour by 40%, taunts target for 15 seconds. Passive skills Intimidating presence - Gives additional options on NPC conversations and a chance to force them to give better prices and free gold. Persuasive will - as above, but a gentler way. Sword and board - Increases weapon damage by 3%, and block mitigation by 10% Fortress - Reduces cost of blocking by 15%, Reduces cost of 1 hand and shield abilities by 5% Shield Affinity - Increases experience with 1 hand and shield by 15% Tough - increases health by 4% Conditioning - increases stamina by 4% Factor in I also use provisioning buffs as well - IE food that gives me increased health/stamina/magicka for a period of time + drink that increases the regen of health/stamina/magicka for a period of time, makes me quite resilient.
featured_spectre Posted April 15, 2014 Author Posted April 15, 2014 BBC News - What was the mysterious black ring in Leamington Spa? < OMG!!! It is a Dark Anchor over Leamington Spa!
featured_spectre Posted April 17, 2014 Author Posted April 17, 2014 Anybody up for Fungal Grotto tonight? Want to get it done as its one of 3 of my last quests in stonefalls.
jaminben Posted April 17, 2014 Posted April 17, 2014 I'll help... I got some better healing spells now.
bushby Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 hopefully my internet sould be working tonight so il be DPS with my 34
featured_spectre Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 sweet. I've not been on much as we've been getting the house ready (literally only a few more hours of work and should just be washing, which will all be done! ) 5 dump runs with a full Pajero (my mums one). Not really junk, just stuff we no longer need or want. And we donated 1 full Car load to the nearest charity shop also . Once sorted, I will be on much more.
featured_spectre Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 Whats your skillset for your tank? I am tempted to re-assign my skill points, but paying 3K to do it, is somewhat frustrating (gets more expensive the higher you get). Might focus now on provisioning (have some awesome buffs)...and know lots of recipes. Woodworking is something I wont touch with this character, but thats not to say I wont with any others I create. Smithing is somewhat annoying right now, I have steel smithing, (which is fine) but I have level 14 iron armour, which has the same benefit as level 16 steel armour, which is a bit frustrating!
CAM Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I'm currently Provisioning 19, Smithing for Iron 14 gear. Tank spec is Barbed Strikes in Aedric Spear which refuses to rank up for some reason and a mix of Heavy Armour and 1H+Shield skills. I took the taunt, spell reflect and something to boost health regen in combat. Oh and Khajiit health regen perk too.
featured_spectre Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 Alchemy is at level 10(ish) Provisioning for me is around 34 Smithing is around 10 Enchantment is around 10 Clothing is at 4 Woodworking is at 2 My provisioning buffs are immense at the minute...example 1 item of food will add 96 health + stamina/magicka for 35 mins, whilst a drink on top will add the regeneration of health + stamina/magicka by 5 per second for 35 mins.
arwen Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 I am also provisioning. Its currently at 39. Although the drinks and food don't stack from what I see Nephilim? Needing to find more recipes... but if anyone wants food/drink in game, give me a shout. Name is arwen_7 in game. (Also, if you find any recipes that you don't want, can you give me a shout please?) Also do clothing and woodworking. Only researched traits on medium Armour and bow so far however.
featured_spectre Posted April 27, 2014 Author Posted April 27, 2014 It got changed in the most recent update. People were able to food buffs which gave around +300 health/magicka/stamina for 2 hours, and then drinks which gave +20 regen on health/stamina/magicka for 2 hours which made them nigh unstoppable in cyrodiil.
