"Logon Background" replacement for Wide screen Displays

Hi,

 

Just looking at setting our new corporate artwork as the logon background.

 

We have some monitors set to 1920x1080 resolution. I've found that there doesn't seem to any 16:9 resolutions supported out of the box!!

 

Does anyone please have a solution ?

I guess I could create a different GP for each room and use just a correctly sized "BackgroundDefault.jpg" ?

Just create one titled background1920x1080.jpg (with that resolution) and it'll work. That's what we did!

Are the supported resolutions the same as what the other monitors use?

 

If they are, just make "backgroundDefault.jpg" 1920x1080 and resize for the others. [or just use a 1920x1080 image and set it to "fit"]

I've heard it doesn't work other places...

 

I may have to try that with 1920x%lots% for my dual screen...

Thanks for the replies.

I tested adding custom resolutions and it didn't work here. Will have use preferences to custom sized defaultbackround to different machines in different OUs. For the odd few in the offices that have all varieties I guess manual file copy!!!

Was your image less than 256KB? If not, that could be why it didn't work.
