Any Advice on portable projector and Smartboard

Hi,

 

Anyone have recommendation for a good mobile Projector and smartBoard.Its for a special need school, If you have pictures that would be great too

Have a look at the sahara cleverscreens maybe (other brand touch screens are available) mounted on a portable stand they are great for speacial schools and a comparative price too.

From personal experience - I would NOT do it. I have sold so many of these into schools but, by and large, they don't get used. You move the unit - you have to re set the projector - re calibrate the board - it just does not get done.

 

If you need a mobile solution go for an interactive touchscreen - just turn it on and it works - no set up - trust me - they will use that.

This ^^. We have a passive whiteboard trolley with an epson interactive projector on it. it's moved once in 5 years.They are just way too cumbersome to be useful. Just suck up the cost and get an interactive panel.
