Sorted. Let me know if there has been any world corruption. I'll have to roll back to the last working backup if that has happened.

Server seems very laggy, popped through my portal to Az's base and cant even move there, had to /spawn to get out. So might be something around that area causing the issues.

I agree I popped over to your base, cj’s and Az’s. While at Az’s I moved about a block every second or two.

I used /spawn as well.

I’ve noticed my TE and AE systems taking much longer to process and when I break blocks they pop right back in. I have to break them about three times. Then it takes a few seconds to pick up the drop.

There are over 3000 villagers spawned at 8,408 in the overworld.

 

Well umm, not now there isn't. Went over to Az's base and despite 1 fps framerate (painful), I managed to eradicate most of those villagers and as a result of that, everything seems to be working ok again.

 

Noticed while over there that someone else seems to have had a go, but must have given up due to the lag.

FTB is Feed the Beast. It is a custom launcher for minecraft with mod packs. The good folks at FTB have packaged up a lot of useful mods into one easy download vs you manually downloading each mod or modifying the minecraft jar file. FTB is no additional cost, you sign in with your mojang credentials.

 

The mods add a lot of extra functionality to the game with different machines to automate processes.

I’d say my favorite mods to get started with are Thermal expansion (TE) and applied energistis (AE)

AE in my opinion has the best storage and auto crafting system. TE has great all round functionality.

Open blocks and extra utilities are great too.

It seems my FTB launcher has forced an update on me and now i'm getting "End of Stream" when I connect. Tried another PC I also have it on and it's done the same. Does the server bit need updating?
