Sylv3r Posted February 10, 2014 Posted February 10, 2014 Explain Everything, Pages, Evernote, Dropbox, Numbers, Keynote are a few off the top of my head our staff are using.
jallsop Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 We're about to do the same here, at easter, as well as the 250 students in September. Our list of potential apps runs to over 100. Most of them free, but some not. Its worth investigating if your VLE has an app. The new firefly 5 teacher and student apps look interesting. We've identified around 25 key apps, including near pod, the iWork suite, and iLife suite which we will be encouraging both staff and students to use. From our extensive research, and site visits to schools both here, and in the UK, has led us to tackle the project from the classroom experience and teaching and learning pedagogy first, and then find the tech to make it work. We have a good ICT coordinator, which is a must for the success of a 1:1 staff or student project of this type.
fred54 Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 Apart from the usual iWorks and iLife suites: Idoceo teacher planner, Book creator, Showme Interactive,
Stevecee Posted February 11, 2014 Posted February 11, 2014 I would put in a vote for book creator and also showbie Steve
