MrLudwig Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 We have a single Exchange 2010 server that's been happily running for ages without problems. But recently I've been getting users report that they can't find addresses in the GAL. It seems to be new users created in the last month or so that aren't showing up. If staff type in the addresses, the emails are received fine, and the new staff can send and receive email without issue, but why aren't they in the GAL? Anyone point me in the right direction, or better still tell me it's a nice easy fix that will only take a few clicks :-) Thanks,
Simcfc73 Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 Have you rebuilt the address book and made tripley sure the little tick box with 'hide from global dress book' is unticked? 1
DevilsAdvocate Posted February 6, 2014 Posted February 6, 2014 (edited) I remember us having an issue like this when we ran 2010. Was something to do with one of the Exchange services not running, can't recall which one though. EDIT - Exchange System Attendant i think it is. Edited February 6, 2014 by DevilsAdvocate 1
MrLudwig Posted February 12, 2014 Author Posted February 12, 2014 Thanks for the suggestions, rebuilt the address book but still having the problem. Also they are definitely not set as hidden :-) Thanks.

MrLudwig Posted April 9, 2014 Author Posted April 9, 2014 Hi bridbri, did you find a solution for this?
