mm3 Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Hello all, got a few Surface Rt devices i was wondering has anyone found a better way to remote control (like remote assistance) so the teacher can walk around the class room with the device while controlling the desktop PC. remote Assistance is ok but some staff struggle with putting in the PIN ( that changes) and also forgetting to allow control of the desktop! Cheers
zag Posted January 29, 2014 Posted January 29, 2014 Surface RTs are good as a doorstop, nothing else. I'd imagine you will never hear about the Operating system again in a few months.

plexer Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 You don't want to teacher uses rt to control desktop pc. Ben
johnat1121 Posted January 31, 2014 Posted January 31, 2014 You could use the RT to control a RDS session which is also mirrored to the projector but one of them will end up with the wrong resolution and then control can also be reversed, teacher controlling the RDS session that's on the RT. 1
