Ergo Secure desks

Anyone had problems with these? Not had them a year yet and they overheat, are loud and fall apart!

These desk have stood the test of time and not even a crowbar was able to break into one, making them ideal for public access areas.

they have been back and fourth, changed mboards although it was a struggle to get them to do this. and have also said they are just below the legal requirement for touch temperature. they are still loud though.

Has anyone heard anything about a problem with Ergos secure desk?

 

We had a problem with one recently and needed a technician visit. When the guy came he quickly fixed the problem and said that he had to check something else on our desks because of a common problem. He looked at all the desks and adjusted a few cables but that was it. The guy was nice enough but wasn’t very forthcoming about what he was looking for. Reading between the lines it seemed that the problem was some kind of fault with the internal wires that had to be adjusted.
