Recommend a Graphics Tablet

Our DT department is looking for Graphics Tablets. They have seen the Wacom Intous5 (large). Anyone used these, can recommend them or is there something better?

We have half a dozen of the Wacom Intuos 3 tablets here. I like them, they work well and we've never had any issues.

I take it the Intuos 3 still works with Windows 7? We have an old one in the storeroom, might dig it out if it does.

Yup! Just plugged it in to my machine to double check (the dept that use them haven't complained at all), and my one is working fine.

My son, heavily into graphics, requested a Wacom Intuos Pro for Christmas having previously had a small wacom tablet for years

Have an Intuos 5 here and it seems good.

Another vote for wacom intuos had an old one years ago and worked fine in windows 7, also had 1 at my old company, used every day, worked year on year. Think the only thing we replaced was the transparent cover and the pen nib.
