MS Volume Site slow for anybody else?

All week we have been getting really bad speeds of the MS Volume licensing web site is it the same for anybody else? Like now I'm getting 200 KB/s

Yes... it took 25 minutes to download win 8.1 software assurance yesterday. I was seeing 160kbps. We are on an uncontended 1gbps connection which, due to traffic shaping, is capable of serving 250mbps to individual desktops!

Horrendous here also, downloading MS Office 2007 took nearly 4 hours!

I've noticed this too. However at home on my BT Fibre it is blindingly fast.

 

Using LGfL 2.0 here - 200Mb Connection.

I've just tried it at home on a remote connection... It's slow there too.

 

Our 87mbps inifinity connection is still showing 220kbps down from the VLSC, whilst speed test is showing me a download of 68mbps

What browser are you using? I've noticed in the past that there appears to be a penalty for non-IE users. A file would download at 80kbps in Chrome but at 2Mbps in IE.

Yep, they are preparing a new version of it at the moment...

I think there is some truth to this. Tested just now.

Im using Safari , might boot up a Windows VM and see if i magically get a faster speed.
