[sims] FMS Install?

On supportnet, is there a KB article with a MAIN iso link for FMS. Been asked to do a clean install but I can only get upgrade ISOs from supportnet, and they're rather useless for installs.

 

Anyway, Is there a kb article or a link I can use?

Download the Spring 2012 ISO which was the last "Full installable" released.

Just to clarify, are you doing a FULL FMS install (including database) from scratch? or just a clean install of the FMS client?

ABORT!! ABORT!! Can of worms alert. This is not simple. OK, the technical is absolute cake, the configuring is total pig and the undo button is restore the database. If this is for school fund you might be ok, but if it's for you changing to an Academy or as a new main school FMS database forget it. Seriously, by the end of the year you'll be wishing you set it up differently and you'll have grey hair trying to unpick it. Spend a bit of money and pay your someone to give you a preconfigured database. It would be the best money you could spend.

Hi RogerCorrigan, so what did you do in the end? I am in a similar boat -> essentially cannot get a blank FMS database (which documentation suggest is readily available when running install, but I only seem to get updates too).

 

At which stage should the blank FMS surface?!
