Hi,

 

Weve just taken over support for a new school. There previous tech seemed to be one who cant leave stuff alone and has to play.

 

He's moved the NTDS folder from C:\windows to another drive.

 

I would like to put it back where it should be so i can get rid of the partition.

 

How safe is it to do this

 

Im guessing looking at the below you dont have to turn the server off and put into Directory Services Restore Mode any more.

 

Move the directory database and log files to a local drive: Active Directory
