64 Bit Roaming Profiles

We have a need for one suite of 15 or so computers to be 64 Bit - The problem being we are using roaming profiles and are running 32 Bit Windows 7 everywhere else. Hence the roaming profile would become an issue if someone logged in to a 32 Bit then a 64 Bit (and vice versa).

 

Is there any way to set up a Group Policy or something for this room so the user could in effect have 2 roaming profiles, 1 for the rest of the site and 1 just for this 64 Bit IT suite?

Alternatively, can we have a local profile in this suite and basically ignore the user roaming profiles?

I don't think it would matey! We have 32bit and 64bit here and the roaming profiles just work! Never had this issue??? Maybe I'm lucky!

There's no problem having 32bit and 64bit as far as profiles are concerned.

Or the other way is to have no roaming profile at all

@micheal, it is but then he might have them for a reason so that when a user logs onto one machine and edits the way their desktop looks to how it suits them that will then be replicated on any other machine they work on. @googlemad don't worry there won't be any issues just install 64bit and away you go!

Onpy minor issue you might have is the uac virtual store. I believe this is local not roaming.
