alunmjones Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 im looking for a pice of software that can centeralise the use of VNC, im sending out new images with VNC built in, i need a pice of software that can scan the network and find all machines accepting connections on the vnc port and then allow me to log in by clicking (starting the vnc software with correct settings) i have tried Remote Control Manager but keep getting run-time error 424 from it. any advice/help thank you
siuko Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 VNCON HERE might be what you are looking for Lets you scan a whole domain and it shows you which have vnc running You can set default connection password too...
localzuk Posted January 10, 2014 Posted January 10, 2014 Free - Skeep (Skeep VNC Console | Free System Administration software downloads at SourceForge.net) Paid for - Bozteck VNCScan (VNCScan Enterprise Network Manager for VNC and RDP | Bozteck) I've used both, VNCScan is very good but for what we use it for, Skeep suffices.
cpjitservices Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 +1 for Skeep here. Bozteck is also good I used the trial and was very good.
strawberry Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Skeep and Bozteck are both good. Skeep is more lightweight and reliable but bozteck has some fancy features.
