Disaster Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 I'm looking to get a High Efficiency gas fire as a replacement for my old one. I have a chimney and some cash. what next? Cheers!
m25man Posted January 8, 2014 Posted January 8, 2014 Inset or Outset? I have one of each, the outset is a cast iron Flavel Emberglow and is 90% the inset is also a Flavel which is around 80% Around £300 but installation will cost another £100 as they have to be signed off by a Gas Safe installer. I actually installed my own and still had to pay the Gas Safe guy but he came tested and signed them both off. the cat likes them.
Disaster Posted January 9, 2014 Author Posted January 9, 2014 HA good stuff, I'm sure my cats will be the same. It will be inset. I've seen quite a few Flavel's they seem to be pretty good value (like their cookers I seem to remember).
