spc-rocket Posted December 19, 2013 Posted December 19, 2013 Hello all, I'm having an issue with Hap+ 9.7 setup (new server and full installation). Everything is setup and i'm working through the setup.aspx page however when i try to change something and then click "update" the following error message is displayed. Any ideas? Thanks, Ash.
nickbro Posted December 20, 2013 Posted December 20, 2013 Have a look on the server's application event log, this should give you an error message of what is actually wrong. Can you also try doing some http://www.edugeek.net/forums/home-access-plus/86059-hap-json-debugging.html
spc-rocket Posted January 7, 2014 Author Posted January 7, 2014 Hi Nick, Sorry for the very late reply, i'm still getting the error (WCF error). nickbro Posted January 7, 2014 Posted January 7, 2014 Known issue and has been fixed for the v10 release
spc-rocket Posted January 13, 2014 Author Posted January 13, 2014 Hi Nick, Is there a manual way of adding things, as this error is comming up now when i add new drives to my files section etc. Thanks, Ash.
nickbro Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 Source Code available on codeplex: Home Access Plus+ - Source Code
peterp Posted January 14, 2014 Posted January 14, 2014 Any idea when v10 will be released? We have added a couple of shared drives, but now when we try to change the permission we get the WCF error - viewing through web developer console shows LOG: {"Message":"The formatter threw an exception while trying to deserialize the message: There was an error while trying to deserialize parameter HAP.Web.API:origunc. The InnerException message was 'There was an error deserializing the object of type System.String. Encountered unexpected character 's'.'. Please see InnerException for more details.","Detail":null,"FaultType":"NetDispatcherFaultException"} Hoping you can help Pete.
nickbro Posted January 16, 2014 Posted January 16, 2014 That issue has been fixed for the v10 release. Unfortunately you cannot port this fix to v9 as it required a API update
peterp Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Has v10 been released? I can only see the downloads for 9.7 on the site. Hoping you can help Pete.
Paul-K Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 @peterp Version 10 is still being completed by Nick & Paul. From what I read on another post yesterday, Paul has a few changes to make that Nick is waiting on. It looks really good though all the updates that are coming along with v10, can't wait. 1
peterp Posted January 17, 2014 Posted January 17, 2014 Cheers for that. I think my boss (spc-rocket) has managed to make some changes we needed by editing the asp files directly, but will not be able to deploy across our staff and students till v10 is out now. Looks a fantastic product, cant wait to use it. Pete.
