Unblock skype and skype ipad app, Smoothwall

Hey Guys

 

Do any of you know what to do on Smoothwall to unblock Skype. I'm a bit of a newbie and the deputy wants Skype working before tomorrow? We use it on iPad and computers!?

Apparently the Skype iPad app does not work through a regular proxy, if that's what you're trying. It will work if you have it connected to a transparent proxy though.

I'm using a transparent proxy on all ipads still not working?

Sorry to bring up an old thread although we need skype to work today and smoothwall seems to be blocking the connection. Does anyone know how to allow it?
