alan-d Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 One of our teachers put together a movie for open evening using 'mySlideshow gold'. Not a bad effort I have to admit. However, the Head Teacher would like to include it in a powerpoint, but the only file available is a .exe. Anyone know of a decent free piece of software that will capture the move, including sound in a format that can easily be used in powerpoint automatically without having to click on the original movies menu.
webman Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 You could try screen-capturing it with something like CamStudio.
OutToLunch Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Have a look at loading the .exe up in something like ResourceHacker and see if the movie is embedded and extractable...
generalen Posted September 28, 2007 Posted September 28, 2007 Guess u could use Microsoft media encoder: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/forpros/encoder/default.mspx
