Location: Christchurch, Wimborne

The Christchurch and East Dorset Councils Partnership has successfully brought together its ICT infrastructure and service teams. To further improve the performance and levels of service received by the Councils the partnership is recruiting a Systems Administration and Development Specialist to oversee the day to day administration of the ICT Service.

The post holder will provide technical support for the systems and databases used in the delivery of the partnership's services.

 

The successful candidate will

• Focus on the development of systems in use to deliver the services of the partnership. By supporting the business to implement updated or new solutions the post holder will play an integral role in ensuring that the partnership is able to deliver services in an effective and efficient manner.

 

• Provide reporting services to the business as required through the use of SQL reporting services.

 

By supporting project delivery from the outset the post holder will gain knowledge of the business needs and be better placed to support the day to day operation of services through advice and guidance on the best use of systems.

 

The post holder will be expected to work from both Furzehill and the Civic Offices and be able to travel between various sites as required.

 

The successful candidate will benefit from on-going training and the opportunity to influence the development of the ICT Service.
