Upgrade VM to server 2012 error

Hi All,

I am getting an error when I try and upgrade my DC VM from server 2008r2 to server 2012. It passes the compatibility and then runs through the upgrade fine until the first reboot.

Here it then encounters the error of a blue screen with the error: INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE

This then keeps looping

 

It is run on Xenserver which is on a HP proliant DL360 G6 which is attached to a HP storageworks MSA60 where the VMs are stored.

 

Any help or advise would be great

What version of Xenserver? There seem to be issues with 6.0, but 6.0.2 should work.

6.0.2. I can install a clean version of Server 2012 fine aswell Edited November 28, 2013 by scholes99
