RM Ascend

We have recently had a visit from unwelcome ‘visitors’ outside of school hours. As a result we now have around 30 RM Ascend stations [beige with blue edging on the fascias: RM part number: 0UT-470] which lack RAM and CPUs. Would these be of any use to anyone using the same machines? Let me know if you are interested.

It probably means the cases have padlock functionality to prevent unauthorised case removal.

They took the RAM and CPU from each machine? In other words, a thief with a small ounce of intelligence (i.e. they even know what RAM and CPU are let alone take them out)? Is that a common thing nowadays? I guess I'm just used to it being chavs who wouldn't know a desktop PC from a laptop.

I am very interested as I have lots of Ascend's here - what spec are the machines, and what CPU's did they have (i.e intel / amd?)
